A new care and nursing home, Lydiahemmet, has been built on top of Farsta Strand metro station.
A covering was made of steel before the wooden modules could be installed on top. To prevent vibrations from the metro to spread up into the 54 apartments, an elastic vibration isolation of the wooden house had to be introduced. Due to variation in loads, an adapted solution per support point was required. Vibratec therefore delivered steel plates with pre-glued cushions in Regufoam individually adapted per support point.
