Vibratec has recently been in Azerbadjan to adjust offshore anti-vibration mounts (AVM’s) for Siemens gas turbines.
Each AVM carries a load of 85 tons, so before pulling them out the gas turbine had to be carefully jacked-up. The AVM’s were complemented with an extra layer of elastic pads plus steel shims (to increase the total height).
The whole operation was prepared and executed without any affects to other parts of the overall installation.
