Today 18 AVM’s (Anti-Vibration Mounts) are leaving the work shop in Estonia with final destination Brazil.
Each AVM is individually designed to a carry a specific load ranging from 60 – 120 ton.
The AVM’s shall support the baseplate of turbo-generator trains on a floating offshore vessel (FPSO) and are designed to prevent the transmission of vibrations generated by the machines to the deck. The installation is out-doors in offshore environment, meaning all elastic elements and naked steel parts are in acid proof stainless steel.
